Replacing an old fence usually takes one to two days, tear-out and haul-away included. New block walls take longer while the footing cures.

How far is Alpha Fence from San Bernardino?
Our yard is in Riverside, about 15 miles south. It is a short run up the 215, so we can often see your property the same week you call.
Do I need a permit for a fence in San Bernardino?
A building permit is needed once a fence or wall goes over six feet, and for retaining walls over four feet. Separately, the Planning Division has to approve every fence and wall plan for zoning, even when no building permit is required.
Is the estimate really free?
Yes. We look at the old fence, measure the new run, flag anything the Planning Division will check, and send a written quote at no cost.
Which fence material lasts longest in San Bernardino?
Vinyl and iron handle the inland heat and foothill wind best. Wood works for privacy in the older neighborhoods but needs sealing every couple of years in San Bernardino sun.
How tall can my fence be?
In the front yard a solid wall is capped at three feet and an open fence at four. Side and rear yards go to six feet, and a decorative iron fence can reach six feet in front.
Do you do commercial work in San Bernardino?
