ORANGE COUNTY FENCE CONTRACTOR
Fences, Gates and Block Walls Built to Irvine's HOA Standards, Village by Village.

25+
YEARS OF EXPERIENCE
ALPHA FENCE COMPANY builds fences in vinyl, wood, iron and chain link, plus block walls and gates, for Irvine homeowners, HOAs and businesses, from Woodbridge and Northwood to Turtle Rock, Quail Hill and Portola Springs.

Most Irvine villages follow association design guidelines, so we confirm the approved style, color and height before a single post goes in.

We come down from Riverside on the 241 and 261 toll roads, and every quote is itemized in writing.

How We Serve Irvine

The Drive
Scheduling
City Rules
Irvine is about 32 miles from our Riverside yard. We take the 91 West to the 241 and 261 toll roads, which bring us down onto Jamboree Road in the middle of the city.
Off-peak the trip runs about 40 minutes, so we group Irvine estimates and installs on the same days and start early to stay ahead of 91 traffic.
Irvine caps walls at 7 feet in most setbacks and much lower near the front property line. We check your lot against the city's rules before we quote a height.

What Our Customers Say
I had Alpha Company come to my home in Corona to repair a section of old weathered wood fence. Roger was very educational over the phone was able to quote a price through a couple of pictures exchanged on our cell phones came out when he said he would be there and finish the job when he said he was going to I would highly recommend Alpha fence company for any future fence needs
Scott J., Corona
I just purchased a house and needed to add new gate and fence. I was referred to Alpha Company. Roger, the owner was very friendly and was very easy to work with. He gave me one estimate and gave me the timeline for the job, and that was exactly how it happened. He called me after the job was completely to ask me if I was happy with everything, and I really was. I highly recommend them.
Brenda M., Riverside
Roger and his team did an outstanding job! ... Very professional...came for an estimate the same day I called and emailed me the quote within 30 minutes of his visit. ... We replaced a 20+ year old wooden fence with vinyl ... The work was amazing and our new fence is straight as an arrow and solid as a rock.

HOAs & Permits
Materials & Fire Zones
Distance & Timing
Do I need HOA approval before building a fence in Irvine?
In most villages, yes. Your association reviews style, color and height. We give you the specs and a drawing to submit, then build exactly what was approved.

Do I need a city permit for a fence or wall in Irvine?
Irvine's Building & Safety Division sets the rules. Walls up to 7 feet are allowed in most setbacks, front-yard limits are lower, and taller walls or retaining walls may need plans and a permit.

Which fence material works best in Irvine?
Vinyl and wrought iron need the least care and fit most village guidelines. Wood gives the warmest look but needs resealing every few years in sun and Santa Ana winds.
My home backs onto open space. Does that change anything?
It can. Irvine's updated fire hazard map, in effect since July 2025, covers villages near open space such as Turtle Rock, Quail Hill and Portola Springs. For those lots we often suggest iron over wood.

Can you build on a hillside lot?
Yes. On sloped lots in villages like Turtle Ridge we step or rake the fence to follow the grade and set posts deeper where the ground drops away.

Do you work on commercial properties in Irvine?
Yes. We install chain link, iron and block fencing for business parks, job sites and storage lots around the Irvine Business Complex and the Spectrum area.
Do you really come out to Irvine from Riverside?
Yes. Irvine is about 32 miles from our yard by the 241 and 261 toll roads, roughly 40 minutes outside rush hour, and the estimate is still free.

How long does an Irvine fence project take?
With HOA approval in hand, a typical backyard fence is up in a day or two. Masonry walls run a few days longer since the footings must set first.
